about Daeeat
We live in a world where we cannot survive without food. Our energy source, our happiness, our health and well being.
Great food comes from the creative Chefs who prepare our meals when we eat out. I am a photoholic.. and love capturing food moments. Friends and family close to me naturally wait until I have successfully captured a foodie moment. They have for many years advised me to share my food experiences. After procrastinating.. and reminiscing my food experiences for this year.. I thought I should share their (Chefs') foods' through my humble camera. Good food not only requires it to be healthy and taste fantastic.. but it should be pleasing to the eyes and easy to eat.
Daeeat, the idea came from a group of friends (3) who met up once every couple of months to catch up.. we would travel just to eat and share our church, work, 'date' experiences and food. Unfortunately one member left us for Korea... it was on our last meeting we came up with Daeeat.. and was an inspiration for this blog.
"Dae" or "대" (Korean) means Big/Large
"Eat" or "이트" (Korean) literal English meaning Eat
Together Daeeat has double meaning, Big/Large Eat (대 이트) or Date (대이트).
When we go on dates, whether it is with friends, family or loved ones.. we eat!!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on my food safari~
